MAJ (Ret) Michael Volkert is a proud Arizonian who joined the Army in 2003 as a signal corps enlisted Soldier. In 2012, he commissioned as an Aviation officer from Arizona State University ROTC. His assignments included Fort Lewis, Washington; Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Fort Carson, Colorado; Fort Wayne, Indiana (Senior ROTC); Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and Fort Bliss, Texas.
He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
MAJ Volkert is a graduate of Arizona State University with BA in History and a Masters of Legal Studies. He retired from the Army in summer of 2025 and relocated back to his home state of Arizona.
MAJ Volkert lives in Mesa, Arizona and is married with 3 adult children.
SFC (Ret) John Biggs is a Florida native that joined the Army as a Military Police Officer in 1988. His assignments included Darmstadt, Germany; Ft Sam Houston, Texas; Schinnen, The Netherlands; Fort Richardson, Alaska and Fort Carson, Colorado.
He deployed to Operation Desert Shield and Storm in Iraq; Operation OIF / OEF in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Iraq.
SFC Biggs is a graduate of Troy State with BS in Criminal Justice. He taught Senior ROTC at the University of South Florida for four years and has been teaching JROTC for eight years.
SFC Biggs lives in Queen Creek, Arizona and is married with 3 adult children.
