Capstone Description

For my senior capstone project, I directed two group musicals to take to the MTCA competition in California. Both of these group musicals were 12 minutes in length and both were complilations of famous works in the theatre community. One of the group musicals was a showcase of the musical "Chicago" and certain highlights of this popular piece. The other was a compilation of multiple works from the composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who are commonly known for composing shows such as "Dear Evan Hansen" and "The Greatest Showman". This process meant holding rehearsals for around twenty three actors almost daily, along with coming up with all of the choreography, and music directing both of the group musicals as well. I learned a great deal from this project and it demonstrated my growth as both a performer and a director.
