AP Comp Sci A

Class overview

The AP CSA class is an advanced computer science course offered by the College Board for high school students. The course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of computer science and programming through the Java programming language. Students will learn how to write, test, and debug computer programs, as well as how to analyze and design algorithms to solve computational problems. The course also covers topics such as data structures, abstraction, and software engineering principles. At the end of the course, students have the opportunity to take the AP CSA exam, which can potentially earn them college credit for introductory computer science courses.
