Hello Penn Valley District Families!

My role as the school counselor is to improve the overall well-being of students and families. I mainly focus on the social-emotional needs of students. I am a resource for students, parents and staff to provide further support needed.

Hello!! My name is Lindsey Romero and I am the full time School Counselor for the Penn Valley Union Elementary School District. I am excited to be here and I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students and families this school year!

First, here is some background information about me! I grew up in Roseville, CA, received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from CSU Sacramento and my Masters in School Counseling from Brandman University. I have worked with kids of all ages for about 8 years now. This is my third year in this district and I am thrilled to be a part of it! I have always had a passion for working with kids and specifically in the area of mental health.

As the only school counselor for the district, I will be servicing students at Ready Springs, Williams Ranch, and Vantage Point. I am taking referrals for my services from teachers, parents, and students and will address the need as necessary.
