Class overview
In this class, we will be following along with the adopted Big Ideas Math curriculum for 7th and 8th grade mathematics, respectively. Math is challenging, but not impossible. With hard work and a positive attitude, you or your student will perform well in this class.
About Me
I graduated from Concordia University, Irvine in May, 2025, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I then student taught for a semester, and spent another semester working as a Substitute Teacher in the Pleasant Valley School District, before then being selected for a Math Teacher position at Las Colinas.
Having gone through the school system myself, I have had a wide variety of teachers, and have seen and felt the impact that a good teacher can have. For this reason, I decided to become a teacher myself, and have coincidentally returned to my very own middle school (yes, I was a student here). I am excited to be on this journey helping you to learn new things, think critically, and succeed in whatever your goals may be. I look forward to teaching you this year, and I also look forward to learning from all of you.
