About Me:

I was born in San Pedro, CA and moved to Ventura County (Moorpark) at 10 years old. I attended Moorpark College, received my BA in Liberal Studies from California State University of Northridge (CSUN) in 2006, and earned my Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential with Supplementary Authorizations in English and History at California Lutheran University (CLU) in 2007. I spent 13 years teaching middle school (mostly ELA) for PVSD (Monte Vista Middle School). As much as I loved teaching, I decided to change paths and follow my next passion. I earned my Pupil Services Credential and Masters Degree in School Counseling in May of 2021. I am entering my 3rd year of counseling here at LMS. I am so excited to start a new year with many familiar faces!
