Students, Parents/Guardians and Families,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.  I teach 7th and 8th Science and Broadcast Journalism, aka Toro News Station (TNS) at Monte Vista.  I hope my website helps you navigate the learning platforms we will be using this year.   My name is May Ly and this will be my twenty-third year teaching (whoop whoop) and my eighteeth year at Monte Vista Middle School.   I am looking forward to a great year of learning and getting to know you all of you.  

I grew up in L.A. County and moved to Camarillo after high school.  I earned my Bachelors and teaching credentials from Cal State Northridge. I have two boys, age 10 and 12 who keep me pretty busy!  I LOVE science! I also enjoy watching movies, reading, building Legos, baking, and spending time with my family.
