3rd Grade with Mrs. Gaffuri

Dear 3rd Grade Families,

I am truly excited to have the opportunity to teach your students this year. Camarillo Heights STEM Academy is an exceptional school, and I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful community. With a dedication to education that spans over eleven years in the Pleasant Valley School District, I am now embarking on my first year teaching 3rd grade, and I couldn't be happier to explore a new grade level. My experience in both 4th and 5th grade will allow me to bring valuable insights and strategies to my 3rd graders as they transition to upper grades. 

This year, I aim to infuse the classroom with joy, exploration, and inspiration. I promise always to treat your child fairly and keep their best interests at heart. I am committed to discovering and nurturing each student’s unique talents and strengths, and I will approach any challenges we encounter with patience and compassion. Every student is valued in my classroom, and we will celebrate our diverse and wonderful differences. 

I am eager to share my knowledge with all of you and can't wait to create an amazing classroom environment together. I look forward to meeting my 2026-27 "Classroom Family" this year.
