Communication is a key to your child's success in school.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

My name is Amy Wood and I am honored to be a part of the wonderful learning and teaching community at Rancho Rosal. I went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for undergraduate studies and well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. This is my fourteenth year teaching and I am looking forward to implementing new instructional strategies as well as providing students with tools that will allow for Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking. This will be an exciting year as students will have more access to technology in the classroom.

My husband and I live in Oak Park with our daughter, Emmy. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing soccer, running, shopping, and going on adventures with Emmy.

If you would like to sign up to receive text alerts via Remind, send the message @7a38be to 81010. This is a one way communicator. I will use it for reminders about fun spirit days, and etc.

Usernames & Passwords:

Student usernames and passwords are created by the Pleasant Valley School District and will be distributed when school starts.

I have done by best to synchronize their information across our platforms, but it will be the students' responsibility to learn and safely keep track of their digital information.

YMCA Swim Program

The YMCA has partnered with Rancho Rosal for a program in which every third grader is offered swim lessons at no cost. Please look for the flyer along with the attached permission slip the first week of school. Students will swim one day a week. We will begin the week of September 10th and conclude the week of October 22nd. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students!

Our class schedule is as follows:
