Hi! My name is Adriana Ruiz. I was born and raised in Oxnard. I love to stay active by dancing, running, and taking walks at the beach. On my free time, I like to spend time with family and my two dogs Leo and Messi. 

I received my B.A. at CSUCI in Liberal Studies with a concentration in foundational mathematics. I also received my credential in Foundational Mathematics at CSUCI. I then continued my education at GCU and received my masters in Education: Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked with high school students the past 3 years at the OUHSD district. This is my first time working with middle school students and my first year at PVSD. I am the 7/8 Mathematics teacher. I am teaching Math 7, Math 8, and Math 1.
