Science with Ms. Erickson

In this class, we talk, we laugh, we share, and we respect one another. We are STINGers.

In Science, collaboration is a must. Students will work together in groups of four and to investigate, hypothesize, problem solve, study and much more. The groups will then collaborate with the entire class on their findings so that they can learn from each other.

Science is a field which grows continuously with ever expanding frontiers. Further, it is truly international in scope. Science is a collaborative effort. The combined results of several people working together is often much more effective than could be that of an individual scientist working alone.

About Ms. Erickson

Hello! I teach 7th & 8th grade Science at Shea Middle School. I attended Desert Cove Elementary, Shea Middle and Shadow Mountain High School. Then I went on to graduate from Grand Canyon University. In my class, we will not just learn about rocks or cells, we will learn about the world around us as well as the different perspectives from others. It was my Shea Middle School Science teachers that made me fall in love with this subject and I hope to do the same for the students in my classroom.
