Artist Spotlight!
Mrs. Hines tells us about her art: I have loved photography since college. I had a wonderful professor who helped me see my own talents. Photography is still one of my favorite types of art and I have even had some of my photos published. A new art medium that interests me is fiber art. I have started weaving, learning about different types of fiber and where it is sourced from. I have also been experimenting with embroidery and adding it to other artworks. Learning new techniques is always exciting.
Mrs. McDonald comments about her art: Making art has been my favorite way to spend time for as long as I can remember. Oils have been a favorite medium since college where I also developed an interest in mural art. Most of the pieces I've sold have been paintings, both oil and acrylic. Drawing is something I do mostly as a calming way to pass time.
Hello, I am Mrs. Keedy, former art teacher and aspiring artist! Learning is my favorite thing, especially when it involves art media and tools. Sharing the wonder of art is exciting. The arts help us communicate and can inspire new ideas and energize us as people. Above all, art is fun!!!
