Pep Band

Pep Band typically plays at sporting events, most notably boys and girls basketball games. Pep Band is mandatory for all band students in Concert Band or Wind Ensemble, excluding students that are involved in the event at which the band is performing. (For example, any members of the band that are on the boys basketball team are exempt from playing with the band during boys basketball games.) Pep Band activities do count as performances for your grade, however, the same rules apply regarding planned absences for performances. For each game, there will typically be a dress up activity, decided upon by the band council. If a student does not wish to participate, expected dress is the Pep Band polo.
