One-Act Play is a competitive play that has a time limit of 40 minutes. The group competes at the district level and if two of the three judges advance it, at sectional and then potentially state. At state the group can earn a variety of awards: All-State or Critic's Choice, Outstanding Acting, Outstanding Ensemble Acting, Outstanding Stage Crew, and Outstanding Directing. The group also performs for the community in mid-November. Pulaski High School has a long tradition of advancing to the state competition nearly every year.
