The Pulaski FFA offers dozens of activities throughout the entire year. Students in grades 7-16 can take advantage of just one, two, 16 or more volunteer, career development, environmental, competition, art, music, science, business, global, social, tech., scholarship, sustainable, grant, awards and events. The Pulaski FFA, Wisconsin Association FFA, and National FFA Organization is a massive buffet with something for everyone. Like a buffet you can pick and choose what you want to partake in. Many students find events that they keep coming back for. We hope you or your child will to. The FFA offers all of these great opportunities through Agricultural Education courses that student at Pulaski also have a great variety to choose from. Agricultural Education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed decisions about the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources industry. Sample activities include leadership workshops: FIRE, 212, 360, Washington Leadership Workshop, Sectional Leadership Workshop, Half-Time Conference, state FFA convention, national FFA convention and more; speaking contests: FFA creed, prepared public speaking, Extemporaneous, Parliamentary Procedure, Farm Bureau Discussion Meet, Job Interview and Ag Sales; career development events: Agricultural communications, agricultural issues forum, agricultural technology and mechanical systems, agronomy, dairy cattle evaluation and management, dairy cattle handlers' activity, environmental and natural resources, farm business management, floriculture, food Science and technology, forestry, horse evaluation, livestock evaluation, marketing plan, meats evaluation and technology, milk quality and products, nursery/landscape, poultry and veterinary science; science research: plant systems, biotechnology systems, food science, animal systems, mechanical system design and repair, natural resources, environmental service systems and social science/agribusiness; other events and contests: state honors band, state honors choir, trap shoots, sporting clay competitions, basketball tournaments, dodge ball tournaments, Ag Olympics, donkey basketball, volleyball tournaments, fishing tournaments, state art contest, ag day at the capitol, CTE legislation events, Envirothon, coops; volunteer opportunities: community gardens, Christmas tie blankets, day on the farm, ag in the classroom, day in the forest, Earth Day clean up, aquatic ecosystem citizen monitoring, grape picking, Pulaski Polka Days, bluebird nesting box monitoring, county breakfast on the farm, cookie baking for ag day, food panty, roadside clean up, nursing home visits, donation of extra fruit and more; annual fundraiser: November FFA fruit sale.
