Vector is the program the Pulaski County School System uses to track teachers' Professional Development hours. TeachPoint is its former name.
For training that is NOT organized by the school district, you will need to:
IMPORTANT: Request PD credit approval from your principal *before* participating in an outside-the-district PD. Please do not assume that it will be approved.
Submit a certificate of attendance in Vector (as an attachment), which is typically provided by the trainer.
If no certificate is provided, you may request credit by completing a Professional Development Reflection Form. This form is only valid when no certificate is distributed, or when no other form of documentation is provided.
Generic Vector Documentation Instructions

Click “New” (green button, top-right)

c. Start Date/Time: When the training started, or when you started watching the recording
d. End Date/Time: When the training ended, or when you finished watching the recording

Three actions are typically required in Vector:
ENROLL *before* the PD starts. Vector removes a PD from the "Available Events" list after its start time.
SIGN-IN. If the meeting is in-person, you will most likely be asked to sign-in on paper. If the meeting is online, you most likely be asked to sign-in to Vector using an Attendance Verification Code. The host will supply this code during or near the end of the session. You are *required* to enter this code within 30 minutes of the PD session's conclusion.
FEEDBACK form is required in Vector *after* the PD session is scheduled to end.
Login www.pulaski.net/vector
Click "Available Events" tab (top-left).
Click "Date" to sort list, soonest PDs first.
Click the title of the PD to attend.
Click "Enroll."
Confirm the date/time (green box).
The event is now listed in the "My Activities" tab.
NOTE: You *must* enroll/register *before* a PD's start time. Vector removes it from the "Available Events" list after the start time.
An attendance verification code is used by Vector to confirm attendance at online PD sessions. The PD host will supply attendees with a code, either during or near the end of a PD session. Once you have the code, follow these instructions:
Click "My Activities" tab
Find the title of the PD session you are attending
Click the green "Sign In" button (bottom-right)
Enter the code supplied by the PD host
NOTE: You are *required* to enter the Attendance Verification Code within 30 minutes of the PD session's conclusion. You *must* enter the Attendance Verification Code to receive credit for attendance. We recommend that you write it down before you leave the PD.
Vector is set up so that you must complete a Feedback Form before it awards PD credit.
Click "My Activities" tab
Find the title of the PD session you attended
Click the green "Feedback" button (bottom-right)
Enter feedback and click "Submit"
NOTE: This form becomes available only after the PD session is scheduled to end. So if it ends early, you will likely need to wait until its scheduled end-time to fill out the Feedback Form.
