Interview With Mrs. Sanchez
Why did you become a teacher?
"I found a passion for teaching students and seeing their progress. I like having them explore how they were prior to taking my class and seeing their advancements and excitement to learn new things after taking my class."
When did you become a teacher?
"I officially became a teacher when I was 23."
Did you always want this job?
"Originally I majored in animation, and when I was pursuing that in college I found out that teaching was my true passion. I found a way to integrate my passion with my art through teaching art and AVID."
Where else would you work if you weren't a teacher?
"If I wasn't a teacher, I would be a voice actor. I love voice acting and I do a lot of impressions. I do my Mickey Mouse impression the best. I've always found a passion for animation and voice acting since I was little, so maybe in the future I can be a voice actor for something."
What was your first job?
"My first job was working at a gastroenterologist as a data entry clerk, and I worked in the medical field for about 4 years. I started when I was 16."
How would you describe yourself?
"I am 1000% sarcastic and corny. I feel like I am a very caring person. I think I am also pretty introverted but when someone gets to know me I become more fun, and I am nothing without my tiny violin."
