In the past 17years, I've been teaching 11th and 12th grade English,.  In addition I was the swim coach for several years.  As a teacher, I work closely with kids to help improve their reading and writing skills and help prepare them for life after high school.  I've taught all levels of students from honor students to students who struggle with reading and writing and I know you will be able to succeed in my class if you're willing to put in the time and effort.  

I've received the Teacher Who Makes a Difference award three times (2013, 2015,2022) and was voted best teacher in Placer County according to the Loomis News in 2011.  In my free time, I like to go to concerts, run and spend time with my family.
