Mission: To make known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities, revealed through mutually transforming relationships; To foster an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of our members, while being faithful to the core values of our founding story; To engage in our diverse cultures, working together toward a more human society.
What: Volunteers are to help with various things including spending time with residents at the Welcome Center, helping serve food at their monthly community night event, etc.
Where: 12302 Vickery Ave E, Tacoma WA, 98446 (25 Min Drive)
When: Wednesdays from 1-3 PM.
Commitment: Weekly, minimum 1-semester commitment for roles that involve more relationship-building; others might be a few hours, as often as you're available
