Mission: Catholic Community Services' work is concerned with providing loving and compassionate service with particular concern for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death and the dignity of the human person. Their focus is on supporting poor and vulnerable people through the provision of quality, integrated services and housing.
What: Volunteers engage in the following tasks:
Drive low-income, elderly clients to doctors appointments.
Provide the organization with clerical support in the human resources and accounting departments (data entry, etc.)
Make casseroles or sandwiches in their own kitchens to later deliver to Nativity House.
Offer an activity to support the physical and mental health of shelter residents (see examples)
