Two days per week each teacher will post lessons for students to engage with. Each lesson is designed to take approximately 40-60 minutes. Distance Learning will not be a minute to minute replacement of the school day, nor will it be a whole group video meeting at any particular time. Each lesson is designed to be done when it is convenient for students and families. Teachers will be available twice a week for live office hours to respond to students' questions and help them work through any assignments.
It might be helpful to develop a schedule that works best for your family. Distance learning doesn’t have to be between regular school hours. Set aside blocks of times that work best for your child and family.
During work time, it’s important to help students create a learning space where they can be successful. While every house has a unique set-up, it’s important to try and remove as many distractions as possible.
As questions come up about Distance Learning, email teachers and/or school administrators. Our school is committed to responding to your questions and getting the support you need!
