Teresa Iafolla (she/her) is currently the author marketing communications manager at UC Press, where she works with authors to promote their books. She is also a member of the FirstGen Program committee, which supports first-generation scholars with book publishing grants and resources to demystify publishing. She has worked in a range of marketing and editorial roles, including as an associate editor for a healthcare and education publisher, a research consultant for a community college district, a director of content marketing for a healthcare start-up, and a content marketing manager for a workplace consulting company. Teresa has a BA in English literature and psychology from the College of William & Mary and an MA in sociology from UC Davis.
