After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in economics, Mike Johnson moved into the paper business, where he worked for several years with printers throughout the state of Wisconsin. He migrated to the book-manufacturing side of the business in the mid-1990s and has since remained there. Mike became involved in PPN, then called Bookbuilders West, immediately after he moved to California. After many PPN book shows, crash courses, social events, and seminars, he is still excited about the future of the industry—and, as an avid reader, he is proud to be a small cog in the incredible world of books.
