Holly Irish (she/her) is currently the journals production manager at UC Press overseeing the production of 34 journals. For more than 20 years, she has worked at various publishers throughout the Bay Area—including McGraw-Hill and Cengage—as production editor, project manager, and production coordinator. Holly’s work has always involved hiring and working directly with freelancers to support the delivery of high-quality content. She most enjoys creating efficient processes to streamline workflows and solving problems that arise during production. When not working, she enjoys sewing, puzzling, paddle boarding, spending time in nature, and watching her son play baseball.
