Tell us about your leadership?
My leadership is rooted soundly in being a listener and learner. I always seek to lead from a space of experience, accountability, and transparency.
Which Public Allies core value resonates with you the most and why?
The core value that resonates with me the most is Integrity. I believe that we should work to make sure what we say and do behind closed doors matches who we say we are in public. It is also integrity that ensures I stick to my commitments, I always hold myself and others accountable for being anti-oppression in words as well as actions. Embodying integrity holds me to all of the other core values.
Anything else you'd like to share?
I am excited about the opportunity to serve Public Allies as a board member. My experience as a program alum as well as a staff alum means that I understand the orgs relationships with AmeriCorps, alumni, PA Staff, and currently serving allies.
