Little Flower Catholic School Technology Education

Little Flower Catholic School provides a blended technology environment which includes Macintosh and Microsoft operating systems. The students also utilize several different devices throughout their school day; such as Chromebooks, iMacs, iPads, and Macbooks. The purpose of this blended environment is to make sure that our students become technology experts, able to adjust to many sorts of technology.

An important component of our technology education is giving the students the opportunities to freely explore the field of Applied Sciences. "Makerspaces" are utilized in the Media Center, which allow for basic-level exploration in free-form creating, electrical and structural engineering, as well as theoretical and hands-on coding. A LEGO Mindstorms course is also taught to enhance our hands-on technology education.
