Please note in order to use the QR code scanner that is built into the camera in the iPads you will need to have iPads using IOS 11 or above.

Discussion prompts

The idea behind this prompts is that they are a physical reminder which children can use to guide their group maths discussions. They has have a built in scaffold which children can use and they can watch some of Pt England School's Year 3 children demonstrating how they use the prompts. Video are based on first interaction with the prompts. I choose to share these as I believe they show the value of having these scaffolds for discussion.

The word wall cards are design to go on the wall or be a set of resources that students can watch to see Pt England School's Year 3 children explaining key mathematical language.

How to use a QR Code Scanner

With QR code reader built into your iPads it is now easier to access resource.

Step one: Open Camera

Step two: Scan QR Code (you do not need to take a photo)

Step 3: Website Popup will appear.

Step 4: Click on Website Popup.
