An intervention study

This project seeks to learn of unique characteristics and challenges in bi-lingual preschools and kindergartens in Nof Haglil city. In this multi-culture city, all early childhood education settings have children and staff from diverse cultures. Caregivers and teachers reported a delay in Hebrew language development in a significant number of children. The study will employ qualitative and quantitative methods to examine children’s level of Hebrew language development and staff’s language and social-emotional support. This information will serve as a basis for supervision-based intervention with caregivers and teachers.
