Developing a vocabulary assessment tool for infants in Hebrew and Palastinian Arabic

Despite the importance of assessing infants’ language development as early as possible, there are very few valid tools adapted to Hebrew (each with their own limitations), and none for Palastinian Arabic. We adapt a test developed for English (and already adapted to several other languages), the Computerized Comprehension Task (CCT, Friend & Keplinger, 2003) to Hebrew and Palastinian Arabic. The test is touch screen based, and will be meant for 16 months old infants in the first stage.
