The PALAWAN STATE UNIVERSITY SAN VICENTE CAMPUS warmly welcomes the AACCUP team and University Officials to the Level II Accreditation of the programs Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.
In the past years, was started to undergo the accreditation process, and we are inspired to strive for this to ensure that the services we deliver adhere to nationally accepted standards. This accreditation impacted every aspect of our daily lives in this institution. Indeed, without a doubt, this is another significant milestone in the history of the campus.
It is an honor and privilege to have the AACCUP Team in this event. Once again, welcome to the PSU San Vicente Campus.

The campus was inaugurated on June 25, 2012, by the virtue of a Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Palawan State University represented by former President Jeter S. Sespeñe and the Municipality of San Vicente represented by former Mayor Maria Carmela E. Alvarez. The university was tapped by the municipality to provide quality, relevant and affordable tertiary education outside the municipality. The said Moa was MOA was acknowledged and selected on May 25, 2012, under the notary Public of Atty. Joselito C. Alisuag.
The campus has a total land area of twenty-thousand (20,000) square meter. It was acquired through the generosity of Governor Jose Chavez Alvarez in which he donated his parcel of land identified with Lot No. 7060 CAD 860-D on July 27, 2011. This was supported by the Deed of Donation entered between Governor Jose Chavez Alvarez-donor and Palawan State University- done sealed acknowledged on October 20, 2011 under the Notary Public of Atty. Joselito C. Alisuag.
As a December 31, 2019, there are five completed concrete buildings and facilities situated on the campus that serve varied purposes such as support for students, academics, and admirations. The two of these buildings were funded by Congressman Franz “Chickoy” Alvarez while the other two were funded by the LGU.
Moreover, there are one semi-concrete facility and three facilities made of light materials specifically bamboo and woods. These facilities are used as support for students particularly as the office of the university students government and student lounge. These facilities were funded by PTC and USG.
In 2013 the campus was stablished its Guard House to ensure the security of the campus. This concrete guardhouse is located beside the main gate of the campus and still very functional. It is estimated to cover a floor area of 30 square meters.
In 2015 another one-storey, four-classroom building was built, this concrete building has four rooms covering a total floor area of 288 square meters. Two rooms of this building were utilized as Multi-Purpose Hall. It served as the venue when holding various school activities, programs, and other special occasions. These rooms served as canteen and conference room.
The recent building established on the campus in the one-storey, two-classroom building, a concrete building found in front of the Multi-Purpose Hall. It was completed in 2016 that has a total floor area 153 square meters. It is composed of two rooms. One room served as the administrative office while the other room served as the office of the faculty, office of the accreditation, and office of research and extension.
The operation of extending the programs of PSU to be extended to PSU San Vicente was I accordance with the BOR Resolution No. 48, Series of 2012. At present, the campus is offering five programs such as Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. On these five programs, three of which have Government Recognition (GR). These are the BAPS (CHEDRO IV-B Order No. 012, Series of 2012), BSE (CHEDRO IV-B Order No. 012, Series of 2012), BSE (CHEDRO IV-B Order No. 014, Series of 2012) , and BSES (CHEDRO IV-B Order No. 013, Series of 2012). These three programs are also Level 1 Accredited by the AACCUP. Meanwhile, the BSTM and BSCS have already undergone Preliminary Survey Visit for the issuance of its COPC and currently preparing for the Level I First survey Visit.
The basis of the program offering was in accordance with the needs of the municipality in consideration of its biophysical characteristics and future engagement of the municipality in the tourism industry. These programs are identified as priority programs by the LGU’s. Also, four programs offered by the campus are listed on the priority programs identified by the CHEd. These are the BSCS, BSE, BSES and BSTM.
As of SY 2024-2025, the total population of enrollees on the campus is 475. Presently, the campus has 20 faculty members and 11 staff. There are three faculty members who have a plantilla position, four are temporary, seven are on contract of service, and eight are part-time. Meanwhile, all of the staff are Job Order.
