Parker is from Penfield, NY, in the suburbs of Rochester. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University in Computer Science and Engineering, with minors in Math and Physics. He joined CEARL in Fall 2026, advised by Dr. Douglas Werner in pursuit of his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
Throughout his undergraduate studies, Parker built a strong foundation in machine learning and artificial intelligence through interdisciplinary projects spanning sports performance analytics, global migration modeling, and data analytics. He also spent two summers interning at Moog Inc. in East Aurora, NY, leading analytics work for the Cost and Pricing department in Space and Defense. Parker's research interests lie in applying deep learning and AI to both improve the design of hardware systems and enable them to make intelligent decisions in real time, with a particular focus on antenna and communication systems.
Outside of his work at Penn State, Parker enjoys spending time on the volleyball court and golf course, refining his guitar skills, and building software applications to improve his lifestyle.
