Jacob  Huber

Jacob was born and raised in Strongsville, Ohio. He graduated from Grove City College in 2026 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a B.S. in Data Science, and minors in Computer Science, AI, Math, Business, and Business Analysis. At Grove City he designed and prototyped a medium voltage instrument transformer for his senior capstone project. Jacob also completed an NSF REU at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2025, publishing two papers on Magnetic Tunnel Junctions.

Jacob joined CEARL in 2026 and is pursuing a Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Werner. His research interests are broadly electromagnetics, optics, and photonics.

Outside of the lab, Jacob enjoys bass performance, running, reading, and video games.
