Anika was born and raised in Bangladesh, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She received her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State in 2026, with research focused on RF Film Bulk Acoustic Resonators (FBARs) for 5G/6G applications. She is currently continuing her academic journey at Penn State as a Ph.D. student.
Her research interests include RF and microwave devices, MEMS, antenna design, and computational optimization. She was recognized by Penn State for her research on RF acoustic resonators supporting reliable signal filtering in smartphones and emerging 5G and 6G technologies.
Outside of research, Anika loves going to the gym, hiking, dancing, traveling, exploring new cafés, and spending time with her husband.
