BRIEF BIO:

Myself, Dr.V.Navin Ganesh, completed B.E in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai in 2011, M.Tech in Transportation Engineering and Management from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2013 with distinction and Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai, in 2023. My Ph.D research title is "Sustainable Land-use Planning, Transportation and Infrastructure Development of Peri-urban Area". I have published 22 research papers in International Journals and presented 12 research papers in National and International conferences. I am a recognized Ph.D Research Supervisor (Ref. No. 4410012) under Anna University. My areas of specialization include Highway Planning and Design, Pavement Design and Maintenance, Urban Planning using Remote Sensing and GIS. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Civil Engineering at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore. I have more than 11.5 years of teaching experience at the Under-graduate level. I have conducted 1 International Conference, 4 Faculty Development Programmes, 3 Workshops and 1 National Seminar. I have completed Testing & Consultancy works worth more than 11.5 lakhs, in the areas of highway material testing, design of bituminous courses, third-party inspection and quality reports for Bituminous and Cement Concrete roads for Government Agencies. I am a life time member of Indian Roads Congress, Indian Society of Remote Sensing and Indian Society for Technical Education.
