Dr. V. Chitra has completed her B.Sc (Mathematics) from Vivekanandha College of Arts and Science for Women (Affiliated to Periyar University) in the year 2005 with a Gold medal and Master of science (M.Sc.,Mathematics) from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli in the year 2007. She received Ph.D. degree (in Mathematics) from Periyar University in the year 2012. She also qualified in the State level eligibility test for lectureship in the year 2012. She started teaching career in the year 2014. She is at PSG iTECH since 2015, and is presently working as an Associate Professor in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, PSGiTech. The areas of interest include graph theory, especially in graph decomposition-factorization and graph labellings.
