You will create a 1 minute video introducing you to the rest of the class:
You can shoot video on your laptop, or phone, or any other device you have, as long as you can share it and we can see and hear it.
Your video must be between 1 and 1 1/2 minutes. No more, no less.
You can use PowerPoint/Google Slides, but be sure to convert the finished slideshow to a video and make sure it is 1 minute long.
It can include whatever you think will allow us to know you: text, pictures, videos, voice-overs, drawings, etc.
All elements of the video must be appropriate for school.
It must contain your name in text!
You will be assigned a specific time period in theatre history to research and present on. You will present next week.
Research: you must use the assigned "Crash Course Theatre" video clip and AT LEAST ONE OTHER source to learn about your time/artistic period. Your bibliography should be your final slide in your presentation. Use EasyBib to format your sources in the correct MLA format.
You will use PowerPoint/Google Slides to create a presentation including:
Slide 1: Title Slide (including your topic, your name and an appropriate image)
Slides 2-3: Who, What, Why, Where, When & How Slides (Important significant facts about this topic in theatre history)
Slides 4-5: Visual Slides (images of the theatre time and style. This might include theatre spaces, scenery, costumes & props, important people, etc.)
Slide 6: Significance Slide (describe and explain the connections between this theatre style and modern theatre--this one is going to take some research and analysis!)
Slide 7: Bibliography Slide (use MLA formatting)
