Using a personalized learning structure, help prepare students for what Dr. Scott McLeod calls the four big shifts happening in education: Higher Level Thinking, Student Agency, Authentic Work, and Digital Citizenship.

Course Objectives

  • Increase student agency by shifting to a blended learning model built on the foundation of student ownership, personalization, targeted small group instruction, tight feedback loops, and real time data.
  • Teachers will have the opportunity to select their own pathways based on their unique goals. Some options include the Autonomous Learner Model/Individual Station Rotation, Flipped Learning, Real Time Data, Digital Tools.
  • Become a model in your building for how other teachers might try out blended learning models.
