2.2 Translations
Week 6- Translations
This is the beginning of our unit on Transformations, which are changes in a shapes position or size. There are 4 main types of transformations and each unit will focus on one of them. Turns, Flips, Slides, and Resize are the common names.
Monday's class will introduce you to Transformations as a whole, while the rest of the week will be focused on translations.
Day 1 (Tuesday)
Complete the notes from your chapter 2 note packet on Translations according to the video. Place them in page 8 of your notebook. Page 7 will be your chapter 2 cover page.
Day 2 (Wednesday)
Complete the Desmos activity titled "Translations with Coordinates". You can access it by clicking the link to the left or by going to Google Classroom.
Day 3 (thursday)
Finish the assigned Khan Academy assignments. You can find them on Khan Academy's Website assigned to you or at the two links below.
There is a Big ideas Math Assignment with 10 questions. You have unlimited answer checks. Work until you can complete at least 9/10 questions correctly.
