Clearing the Cache
in Chrome

Quite a bit of junk builds up in browser caches, and they should be purged every now and then. This process will log you out of many sites requiring you to log back in, but will not erase saved passwords or autofill data.

While in Chrome:

  1. Press Ctrl-Shift-Del

  2. Make sure the top tab is on Basic (vs Advanced)

  3. Choose “All time” from the drop down

  4. All three boxes should be checked

      • Browsing History

      • Cookies and other site data

      • Cached images and files

  5. Press “Clear data”

  6. Close and reopen Chrome

  7. Go back to the site and try again
