PBS-RESPECTING DIFFERENCES
Messages play an important role in how children learn. Children today are getting multiple messages from media and society. By becoming more aware of the messages our children are faced with each day and by focusing on the positive ones, we can influence the messages that our children are receiving. When we see negative messages or stereotypes, we can use those as teachable moments to discuss what we’re seeing.
MULTICULTURAL KIDS
Multicultural Kids provides resources for language learning (both foreign language and English), cultural and diversity awareness, adoption, unique family situations, character building, different abilities and illness, being peaceful and green, and numerous educational resources.

The Access Center strives to develop the talents of those who have been traditionally underrepresented in higher education during their pre-college years by nurturing college bound aspirations; increasing academic skills and motivation; reaching out to Colorado’s historically under served secondary students; facilitating the college application, enrollment and student aid process; and assisting in the transition to college supporting retention efforts.
