Android Wireless Access

The PSD_Staff Wi-Fi network is for all PERSONALLY OWNED Staff devices (Cell phones, iPads, Android Tablets and so forth) while the PSD_Student Wi-Fi network is for all the Student PERSONALLY OWNED devices. To get them connected, you need to apply some basic settings. These settings are exactly the same if you are Staff or a Student so please share this information with Students as needed. Also note, there are literally hundreds of different devices out there. Many of them will have similar settings to what we show you here but many will require you to know your device. Once you get these settings done, you shouldn’t have to do it again.

1. Connect to either PSD_Staff or PSD_Student wireless network.
2. The settings you will need to look for and change are: EAP, Phase 2 Authentication, Your Identity and Your Password.
3. Set EAP = PEAP
4. Set Phase 2 Authentication = MSCHAPV2
5. The CA certificate is not needed so can be left blank or unspecified depending on your device.
6. Set Identity = your District Login ID (ex. mine is GShannon).
7. You do not need to enter an anonymous identity so leave that alone.
8. Finally Set password = your District Password.
9. At this point you can press connect. It will likely take a few seconds to get on the network but after that it will be good to go
