Each instructional material shall be composed of a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 150 pages. Each module corresponds to one topic or chapter in a traditional classroom setting and shall coincide with the course syllabus and course guide.
First person and second-person narrative shall be used in the discussion section of the module.
The tables and figures included in the module shall be appropriately labeled. Titles of the tables shall be placed before the table while the title of the figure/caption shall be set below the figure. The exact date of the retrieval of the figures and tables shall be included with the caption.
Learning activities may also be provided depending on the need of the topic.
The assessments shall be included at the end of module as a separate page. The assessments are expected to address the set objectives per unit and may be in the form of activities, assignments, short quizzes, long quizzes, and major examination/s.
For courses with laboratory components, laboratory exercises shall be provided for at least seven (7) weeks and shall be indicated explicitly in the syllabus.
For course projects, detailed specifications for the project shall be provided in the module. The project is the culminating activity for the students that shall yield an output that is for evaluation. This shall cover all skills and competencies developed in the students for the entire course. In general, this shall address the course objectives indicated in the syllabus.
In-text citations and references, including the materials retrieved from the internet, shall follow the American Psychological Association (APA) Style 7th Edition. Each module shall contain list of references.

Guide Question - a section which provides questions that allow learners to explore key concepts, theories, issues, and problems.

Learning Activities - an optional section which provides activities that can be done by the student to evaluate his/her learning throughout the course.
Key points/Summary - a section which highlights the most important information or key ideas in a unit or chapter
Assessment- a section which measures the achievement of the learning objectives for the module (e.g. short essay questions); assessment maybe formative or summative.
References- a page which lists all web pages, articles, books, etc. used in the module

Each module shall be approved by the College Dean.
The faculty member shall ensure that all components required are present in the module.
The module shall be passed to the Department Chair to review its contents in accordance with the syllabus.
Once reviewed, the Department Chair shall forward the module to the College Dean for approval.
Once all modules are produced for a course at the end of the semester, the faculty member shall proceed to Method 2.
