"I teach Instrumental Music grades Kindergarten through 8th. I have worked for several other schools before I found my home at the Pueblo School for Arts and Sciences. Sometimes, I forget how lucky I am to have the opportunity to teach the students of PSAS. It is not an exaggeration to say that our students are among the finest students that I have ever taught. I truly believe that we have the finest students because we, as teachers, have the freedom to teach our individual subject areas to the best of our abilities. We are not inundated with requirements that hamper our ability to teach. Our administration the best there is. This also includes every single staff member at PSAS. To say that they are special is an understatement. Not only do I call every staff member my friend, but we are family. We care about the welfare and education of every single student at PSAS. It is my honor to come to work every day to serve our students. Being a part of this magic is the best thing that has ever happen to me.
Thank you PSAS!!"

3rd/4th Grade Teacher
"When I first visited PSAS ten years ago, I noticed how happy everyone appeared. I saw students, teachers, and parents smiling. It just seemed like the best place to be. I have worked at PSAS since that time, and have never had a single day that passed without seeing people smiling. The programs are great, but the people who make PSAS what it is are the best!"

5th/6th Grade Teacher
"This is my twelfth year teaching 5th and 6th grade at PSAS, and it is a great place to work. The staff is caring and supportive of one another, and the students are amazing. I enjoy working one-on-one with the students and watching them grow and learn. The atmosphere of the school is one of discovery and creativity. PSAS is a real community school that helps prepare students to be lifelong learners and successful in future endeavors. They receive a wonderful, well-rounded education that touches all disciplines and an integrated curriculum helps to educate the whole child. Community service and compassion for others are taught alongside the the core subjects, and students attend many humanities classes that allow them to excel in all areas. It is obvious that everyone at PSAS cares for one another. Every day is a new opportunity to learn--for both students and teachers. I could not ask for a better school to teach!"
