I obtained my undergraduate degree in Sports Management from St. John’s University.
After working in collegiate athletics for 5 years, I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University. This is my 10th year of teaching Physical Education.
My teaching philosophy is that Physical Education is for everyone, whether you are an elite athlete or beginner athlete. Physical Education offers opportunities for lifelong health and self expression through physical activity. Not only should Physical Education be important for personal fitness, it should be fun as well. Through the Physical Education program here at P.S. 214, we will learn the advantages and benefits of physical fitness and exercise by utilizing activities such as cooperative games, sports skills and cardio vascular exercise.
When I’m not teaching Physical Education, I enjoy playing basketball and tennis, riding my bicycle or skateboard, and collecting sneakers.
I’m looking forward to another fun year of Physical Education here at P.S. 214, as well as another exciting basketball season, with our very own Blue Sonics Basketball Team!
