MEDICATION EXCLUSIONS:

ACETAMINOPHEN (TYLENOL) DO NOT GIVE:

• Patients with liver disease or impaired liver function

• Patient has taken acetaminophen in the last 8 hours

• DO NOT exceed a total of 3 g acetaminophen in 24 hours

GABAPENTIN (NEURONTIN) DO NOT GIVE:

• Allergy/history of intolerance to Gabapentin

• If patient is already taking Gabapentin prior to surgery:

  • • If patient TOOK usual morning dose, no further administration is necessary preoperatively

    • If patient MISSED usual morning dose, patient to receive usual home dose of Pregabalin or Gabapentin x1 dose

SCOPOLAMINE (SCOP PATCH) DO NOT GIVE:

• Age >65

• History of acute angle glaucoma and/or BPH
