Pre-Op

Multimodal Analgesics

• Acetaminophen 1 g PO

• Gabapentin elixir 600 mg PO

• For patients who will not receive ketorolac intraop: Celecoxib 400mg PO

NURSING UNIT

Multimodal, non-opioid analgesics as first line

• Acetaminophen 1g PO q8hrs (Not ordered as "while awake")

• Gabapentin elixir 300 mg PO qhs

• Toradol 15 mg IV q6hr

• Oxycodone 5 mg PRN

• IV opioid for breakthrough pain

Ambulation

• POD 0- x1

• POD 1- x3-4

• POD 2-x4-6
