Art History

About the Course

AP Art History is taught at the same level as an introductory college art history survey.  The course involves critical thinking and should develop an understanding and knowledge of diverse historical and cultural contexts of art. In this course, students examine and critically analyze major forms of artistic expression from the past and present from a variety of cultures. Students will be strongly encouraged to take the AP Art History Test. 

Prerequisite: Grades 10-12

1 credit, AP/DC weighted GPA
