Preventing the Spread of Infection.

Tuesday, March 17- Wear GREEN!
Who can participate? All Hays, Reynolds, and Rogers 8th grade students.
What is Color Guard? We’re the section in the marching band who dance and spin flags, rifles and sabres.
Where will rehearsals be held? We will have a sectional at each middle school, and then several rehearsals at PHS.
When will these sectionals & rehearsals occur?
Wed, March 4th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
Wed, March 18th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
Wed, March 25th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
Fri, March 27th: PHS Arena, Parent Performance, 7:00pm
Why should you do middle school color guard? If you’re interested in trying out for the Prosper Guard or the Rock Hill Color Guard, then these rehearsal clinics will teach you some of the fundamentals of color guard.
How do I do color guard? Do I need to have prior experience? Most color guard members learn how to spin a flag and dance by coming to rehearsal and learning with our awesome teachers and staff members. It takes a little bit of patience and a lot of practice, but you can learn how to toss a flag in no-time, all you have to do is try!

What is a Hope Squad?
Our Hope Squad is the eyes and ears of our school. It is comprised of students who are trained to watch for at-risk students, signs of depression, anxiety, etc–provide friendship, identify warning signs, and seek help from adults. Hope Squad members are NOT taught to act as counselors, but rather, are educated on how to recognize signs of suicide contemplation, and how to properly and respectfully report this to an adult.
For more information: HOPE SQUAD
We are looking for Dads to volunteer as Watch DOGS here at Reynolds!
