The Cheer Team at Hays Middle School is made up of 15 students in both 7th & 8th grades, and one Mascot!

To try out for the Cheer Team, you must be a current 6th or 7th grader who will be returning to Hays Middle School. Cheer tryouts are held in the spring for the following school year.

The Hays Cheer Team can be found at various events throughout the year, from greeting students in the car line in the morning, on the sidelines cheering for 7th & 8th grade football and basketball games, and cheering at the schoolwide Pep Rallies!

Hays Cheer also collaborates with various student groups across campus to help facilitate school-wide unity. Many of our Cheer Team members are also members of Hays Hope Squad, NJHS, STUCO, and more!

We are proud to be a part of the vibrant culture that makes our student body at Hays so special!
