School of Pharmacy, University of Pittsburgh
I am currently a Research and Evaluation Manager at the Implementation and Research Center for Healthy Communities (IRC) in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh. I hold a PhD in Educational Psychology from the Institute of Education at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, where I specialized in the reading and learning patterns of English language learners (ELLs). I was a visiting scholar at The Ohio State University from 2017 to 2018, supported by the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan.
My academic research has focused on narrative reading using eye-tracking technology, vocabulary acquisition, and collaborative small-group discussions. I specialize in mixed-methods research and program evaluation, integrating rigorous qualitative and quantitative approaches to address complex research questions. My work includes quasi-experimental study designs, data collection, thematic analysis, quality improvement, and contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
Over the past several years, I have led program evaluations across a variety of public health and education initiatives. I develop comprehensive logic models, evaluation plans, and data collection strategies that align with project goals and funder requirements, including those of NIH, NSF, USDA, and SAMHSA-funded programs.
